2-day roadtrip w/ a Greek photographer

November 2022, I was happy to meet up with my Athenian friend, Antonis, in Limassol. I'd gotten to know Antonis during his mandatory army service in Cyprus and hadn't seen him since his discharge earlier that year. Road led him back to the island and it was a sure thing that we'd get together for a good ol' sesh, catch up and reminisce the times when he used to only be able to hang out for a few hours before someone was expecting him at some army gates at 9pm. I can only hope that those days hadn't been so bad since he at least had company to skate with on a lend board and the chance to get a glimpse of the CY skateboard scene with its riders. As a bonus, every time I'd have a new skate mag at Stay_K HQ, he'd grab one to get him thru hard times.

Now that Antonis was free from all that, he loved the idea of shooting at familiar places, like the old Nicosia city where he'd walked and skated with one eye always on the clock; and explore main spots like Limassol Molos area, old city, and the school up the hilltop, too. With him was Denia of Free Movement SB and we were joined by Tony the evening we spent in Limassol. After that, we headed to Larnaca for a quick stop at Ugly Sides DIY, one you can't miss, and then Nicosia.

You may wonder why these photographs haven't seen the light of day 'til now. One reason is because the plan of these 'missions' was 'no plan'. Just shoot whatever jumps our way, have fun skating and capturing the moments. 100% tourist mode, for a change.
